The focal point for the collection of art at Horsens art museum has always been modern art. Our aim is to present art of quality and perspective; which takes society as its starting point, and therefore moves us and is hopefully thought provoking. We will usually show in depth exhibitions that provide the opportunity for contemplation. Therefore the collection is also characterised by having many works by relatively few artists, rather than accommodating a few works by many artists.
